General terms and conditions “Bijzonder Bed & Breakfast”
Welcome to B&B Bijzonder. These general terms and conditions come into effect when you make a reservation.
Definitions:
Owner: Nienke van Keulen
Manager: replacement in the absence of the owner
Guest: main guest and fellow guests staying at the B&B
B&B: Bed and Breakfast
General:
1. The main guest must be 18 years or older, is responsible for his or her fellow guests, must have a permanent place of residence and must have a valid ID with them.
2. The prices of the rooms are listed on www.bij-zonder.frl. Prices include VAT, two towels, two washcloths, guest towel, made beds, water, electricity and final cleaning, this is excl. Breakfast.
3. Our B&B is unfortunately not suitable for dogs, children, people in a wheelchair/who have difficulty walking.
4. Our rooms are suitable for a maximum occupancy of two people.
5. We want our guests to have a carefree stay. However, we are not responsible for loss, theft, accidents, personal injuries, medical costs or damage to goods caused by personal carelessness or by circumstances beyond our control.
6. Naturally, we expect our guests to report any damage or missing items to us. Any costs will be charged.
7. B&B Bijzonder is not liable for disruptions in and around the accommodation, such as power failure, Wi-Fi, water supply and technical installations.
8. We expect our guests to follow the instructions of the owner or manager.
9. The owner or manager may, in the event of a violation of these General Terms and Conditions and in the event of inappropriate behavior, immediately deny and/or refuse guests access to B&B Bijzonder, without further notice and without stating reasons and without refunding the accommodation costs.
10. The owner's administration is decisive in the event of a mutual disagreement, unless the guest can prove otherwise. 11. We expect guests of B&B Bijzonder to adhere to the house rules and the general terms and conditions.
Reservation and payment:
1. The rental agreement can be concluded by telephone, e-mail, via our website, booking.com or via B&B Nederland.
2. After receiving a reservation request, B&B Bijzonder will send a confirmation (provided the room is available).
3. The reservation is final after receipt of the total rental amount.
4. Payment must be made within 24 hours after booking.
5. If payment is not received on time, the reservation request will be cancelled. The guest will receive a message about this by e-mail.
6. It is possible that the tourist tax has not yet been paid in full, this will be settled during your stay. This can be paid in cash or by debit card.
Cancellation:
1. The following conditions apply when cancelling the reservation:
- In case of cancellation 4 weeks or earlier before the arrival date; no cancellation costs.
- In case of cancellation from 4 weeks to 14 days before the arrival date; 50% cancellation fee.
- In case of cancellation 14 days or less before the arrival date or in case of no-show; 100% cancellation fee.
2. Only at the discretion of the owner or manager (for example in case of calamities) can the cancellation conditions be deviated from.
3. In order to qualify for a possible refund, the cancellation must be communicated to the owner immediately by e-mail or telephone.
4. After consultation, the agreed amount will be transferred within two weeks.
5. In case of early departure, no refund will be made.
6. B&B Bijzonder can only cancel the reservation agreement in case of force majeure, natural disaster, extraordinary weather conditions, fire, death of the owners or family, hospitalization or unannounced sale.
7. In one of these cases, the owner or manager will offer the guest an alternative as soon as possible.
8. If no alternative is possible or the guest does not accept the offered alternative, the full amount will be refunded. Any other costs resulting from the cancellation will not be reimbursed by the owner.
10. We recommend taking out travel and/or cancellation insurance.
Arrival and departure:
1. On the day of arrival, the room is available from 3:00 PM and can be checked in until 10:00 PM.
2. It is appreciated if we receive the expected arrival time in advance.
3. Arrival times other than those mentioned above are only possible in consultation.
4. In connection with cleaning the rooms, it is necessary to leave them before 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
Complaints:
1. Of course, we do our utmost to offer our guests a carefree and unforgettable stay. If, despite our good care, there is a complaint, we would like to hear about it on the spot so that we can resolve it immediately.
